The Anti 1992 High Gain Amplifier from Universal Audio is a phenomenal amp in a box pedal reliving the high gain metal tones that began in the '90s.

Amp in a box tech has come a very long way since its inception, with cabinet Impulse Responses, or IRs, sounding extremely close to the real thing. These pedals from UA come with three built-in cabinet sims along with additional cabs available through the phone app. The app, via Bluetooth connection, allows for preset building, more customization options, and other features not found entirely on the pedal to keep pedal usage simple and streamlined. This lets the pedal stand on its own with the essential controls so it can be used independently without the app.

Basic controls such as Low, Mid, and High EQ on the bottom three knobs, along with classic amp controls of Pre-gain, Presence, and Output on the top three knobs. Flipping the middle switch to [Alt] allows for these knobs to control their respective alternative functions. Based on a common pedal combo with amps like these, a tubescreamer has been included into the circuit via the [Alt] settings on the bottom three knobs. Control the actual Overdrive, the tone, and its output level into the "amp." Reso controls the resonance, tightening the low end, the Gate is a noise gate that mutes sound when not playing. 

Three cab sims are available built into the pedal, two being two flavors of Vintage 30s, and a 75w Creamback, with three more included in the app. Found on many high-gain amps are Rhythm, Crunch and Lead channels that give all different flavors of gain and tone. Overall, an extremely comprehensive pedal that includes many features of the amps that defined this tone, but with more capabilities all built into a small footprint.
